Warhawks Finish Strong
Not a lot of big news last weekend for KU opponents, but there were two KU opponents in action. Nebraska proved to be not quite up to the calibur of south champion Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship. Everyone's interested in seeing how the QB transition goes up in Lincoln next year. Lousiana-Monroe beat Louisiana-Lafayette 39-20 to win three of their last four games. The Warhawks finished 4-8, but also had narrow two-point losses to both Kentucky and KU. Kansas fans appreciate them delivering on their part of the equation for that slim chance at a bowl game for KU last weekend. FIU on the other hand, well ... I guess we can discuss that with them in person next September.
