Yawn. The drama isn't in what will happen, it's in how it will happen. It's a very liberating experience to approach every game as a given come-from-ahead loss. It's almost God-like. You see the players out there and they know it's happening, but they think they can somehow stop it ... or maybe even they know they can't. But they're a part of it, so somehow they feel they affect the outcome. You hear it in the announcers voices, they start to feel a little more comfortable late in third with a big lead. And you really do pity them. Yes, God-like. Some fans fall for it too, and it's hard not to fault them because they are after all logical people for the most part. Oh and the best part is the miracle that the other team and players believe they witnessed/created. The miracle for their re-building program on their way to their first bowl game since ... well, whenever. The incredible, against-all-odds, come-from-behind win overcoming the insurmountable 18-point deficit. Awesome. The only thing that makes no sense -- is the Justin Thornton interception at the end of the USF game which ruins what could have been an awesome streak of six straight meltdowns. Perfection lost. Did you hear about the Northwestern/MSU game? Quote
"This is unacceptable."
